I'm a collector of stories, aprons, and outsider art. I enjoy art and science projects with my daughter, road trips with my husband, cooking for friends and family, making art, and writing. My idea of a great vacation includes art museums, good books, local food, and the beach. In another life I'll be a master gardener and get more done in a day.
I blog about art, design, food, feminism, parenthood, politics, and culture.
I blog a lot or not very often and my blog wanders from serious to not so much.
My past includes work as an editor of an arts and culture magazine, gallery director, marketing and events consultant, arts festival director, corporate and communications manager. But none of these compared to working the snack counter at a bowling alley.
In 2015 I left the corporate world after 16+ years to work with the realtor who sold our house for us in 2013. I'm surrounded every day by a progressive, supportive, fun team at a boutique brokerage and get to look at houses online as often as I want. It is sort of awesome. I'm 50-ish, feel 35-ish and am really happy.
I am always interested in freelance projects or artistic collaborations.
