This week has been full of activity around the contract we put on a house last Sunday. The inspection was this morning and didn't go as well as we hoped, so the verdict is still out on this entire thing. It has been stressful and exhausting but I keep reminding myself, it is just a house. Two acquaintances near our ages received terrible health news this week. That puts things in perspective, to say the least. My sweet little Audrey reminds me the only really important thing is that the three of us are together, healthy and happy. She now sings, "Up up and away, in my bootiful, my bootiful bawooooon," and that pretty much sends me to sky. We kind of feel like we're floating, waiting to land, not sure where the wind will take us.
