The wedding was beautiful! Jessica incorporated so many sweet touches in homage to our grandma...her quilts, table runners, teapots with flowers planted in them, etc. The location was gorgeous and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Jess + Josh exchanged the vows they'd written to one another. I had to coach (physically) Audrey down the aisle. She wouldn't move unless I was walking with her. To cap off the night, my cousin Mark put on another stellar fireworks display. Now the newlyweds are off on a European honeymoon. So happy for them. They are so sweet. Weddings are wonderful. Truly.

Looks like a sweet day! Let me know if you ever want to consider work as a wedding photographer - my boyfriend and I are getting married in St. Louis next May and so far, finding a photographer is my least favorite part of planning! So many gimmicks and "cutesy" photo ops.. - Candice
ReplyDeleteFirst - Congrats! Second - My friend Jess Dewes (http://www.jessdewes.com) is a professional photographer in St. Louis. She shot a work colleague's wedding in 2010 and is doing another colleague's this fall. She was going to do my cousin's wedding but was booked. And she's done family portraits for us. She is professional, yet totally low key and "gets it". Maybe give her a call. Tell her I sent you.
