Weekend Bits & Pieces

Last week was a blur. I'm sort of re-prioritizing and finding that blogging is losing out to spring-time walks and calculating Weight Watchers points. But more on that in another post. Our weekend was a mix of work and play. My folks had Audrey so Friday night we had dinner with friends at a tapas restaurant. Saturday, we cleaned the basement all day. (I found some funny ephemera I'll share later this week.) We spent Sunday afternoon out at my folks, where we picked up Audrey, delivered nephews for spring break, checked out new projects in my dad's garage, and enjoyed a wonderful meal with all of my aunts and uncles. We were on our way out the door with Audrey running to catch grandpa for a kiss, when she fell against a kitchen chair and got her first shiner. Oh, how she cried. It was sad and pitiful. Luckily, Aunt Debbie (a school nurse) was there with bubbles in her purse! Instant happy. Highly recommended antidote.
