I'm paraphrasing, but my favorite part of this amazing speech from Brene Brown is about parenthood and how when we hold our babies in our arms we think our job is to keep them perfect (at about 18 minutes in). "That's not our job. Our job is to teach them, 'you're imperfect and you're hard wired for struggle, but you're worthy of love and belonging."
