The most somber vacation stop I've ever had was a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorainne Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. If you visit Memphis, you must go. It is difficult to believe how recent the Civil Rights movement was in our history. It is even more difficult to believe that the oppression and inequality still happen every day against people of color, homosexuals, the poor, the elderly. I hope the spirit of discontent of the Occupy movement continues and change happens in this country on many levels.

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.
