First found out about this collection of vintage photos from Sydney's Police archives at Coilhouse. Became particularly intrigued with the female criminals and victims, but really the entire collection is so incredible. Very easy to get lost in the photos and stories here, mostly from the early 1920's. Apparently, there is a book.
