The weekend was a little rough. Audrey is teething (finally...I think). We had plans to go to two art openings on Friday, but at the tail end of dinner at Biggie's she started getting pretty cranky and by the time we strapped her into her car seat she was wailing. She hardly ever cries, so when she does, we figure she means it. So we went home. She fell asleep quickly and we watched From Here to Eternity. The rest of the weekend consisted of both of us trying to accomplish various errands while attending to Miss Fussy Pants. She is crawling and gets pretty pissed when we don't let her chew on the electrical cord to the iron or other dangerous objects, like say, um, batteries. Yes, she found that drawer too. We took a little trip to Lowe's today for safety gear. And we've become those people who leave a trail of cereal and cracker crumbs everywhere they go. Anyway, the whole weekend was a series of ups and downs. Sweet Audrey vs. Cranky Audrey. She's crawling and becoming much more independent. I'm worn out. Happy worn out.
